A follow-up treatment is recommended to be given a month later, and this course of treatment can be repeated every six months.
How often should the treatment be repeated?
The recommended treatment requires two or three sessions with around a month’s separation between each. The improvements in skin hydration and even pigmentation may last anywhere up to nine months, but this varies from one individual to another and is dependent on a number of factors.
What about side effects?
The side effects mirror those of other injection treatments. You may experience a little redness, sensitivity, numbness, itching or bruising for a few days but not more than a week.
